Vantage-Managed LMX Server Setup

This guide covers setting up LMX (License Manager X) license servers through Vantage's fully managed service. Vantage handles all infrastructure, maintenance, security, and monitoring while providing you with a production-ready LMX deployment.

Vantage-managed LMX servers offer:

Prerequisites​

Before deploying a Vantage-managed LMX server:

  • Vantage Account: Active Vantage subscription with license management enabled
  • License Files: Valid LMX license files from your software vendor

Deployment Process​

1. Access License Management​

  1. Log into your Vantage dashboard
  2. Navigate to Licenses → Servers
  3. Click Deploy New Server
  4. Select LMX as the license server type

2. Configure Deployment Settings​

3. Upload License Files​
